Job Description:

Astro Forge is excited to announce an opportunity for a dynamic individual to join our team as a Radio Frequency Engineer. The selected candidate will be an expert in antenna engineering, RF design, high-frequency systems, high-power amplifiers (PA), low-noise amplifiers (LNA), microwave engineering, and front-end development.

Responsibilities:

• Designing RF hardware for satellite-to-earth ground station communication, focusing on S-band and/or X-band radio frequencies.
• Board design, operation of RF test equipment, and testing and analyzing RF performance.
• Designing a S-band radio sub-system for Mission 3 and future missions.
• Collaborating with the team to ensure effective communication subsystem design.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience in RF hardware design, particularly in S-band and/or X-band radios.
• Proficiency in operating RF test equipment and analyzing RF performance.
• Knowledge of high-frequency systems, power amplifiers (PA), low-noise amplifiers (LNA), and microwave engineering.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work onsite in Seal Beach, CA

Salary

• 140k - 160k
