Expert Airline Support Engineer at Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) – Seal Beach, CA

As an Airline Support Engineer, you will serve as the technical interface between Boeing and aircraft customers, maintaining operational and reliability performance. You will manage customer engagements globally, provide technical advocacy, and lead the resolution of in-service issues.

• Advocate for selected airline customers and lead technical initiatives.
• Drive customer issues to closure by coordinating with functional teams.
• Maintain contact with Boeing Field Service Representatives and airlines.
• Author and review documentation related to airlines.
• Leverage industry knowledge of commercial planes and airline operations.
• Collaborate with Service Engineering, Program Management, Sales, and other teams.
• Use program management skills to resolve priority in-service issues.
• Communicate plans and monitor follow‑up to ensure actions are executed.
• Engage with senior executives and managers at airlines.
• Build constructive relationships and present to airline and Boeing leadership.
• Lead activities across customer accounts and work alternate shifts when required.
• Travel domestically and internationally (≤25%).

• Bachelor of Science in engineering or related field.
• 14+ years of related experience or equivalent education and experience.
• Willingness to work extended hours as needed.

• Experience with organizational leadership and implementation of plans.
• Experience supporting technical questions for airplane programs.

Competitive base pay and variable compensation.

• Level 5 (Experienced): $176,800 - $239,200
