We are looking for a highly skilled engineer who will serve as the technical interface between Boeing and our airline partners. This position is located in Seal Beach, CA, and expects the selected candidate to work onsite 100% of the time.

As an Airline Support Engineer, you will help enable billions of passengers and billions of pounds of freight to be flown every year. You will manage Boeing customer engagements globally, participate in Executive and Technical Review Meetings, and serve as the focal point for addressing and escalating support‑related issues. Your work will directly support the company's commitment to safety, quality, and value for our airline customers.

Position

Responsibilities

• Act as a proactive technical customer advocate for selected airline customers.
• Develop a thorough knowledge of top customer issues and lead them to closure by coordinating with functional teams within Boeing.
• Maintain frequent contact and coordination with Boeing Field Service Representatives and customer airlines.
• Author and review documentation for airlines, using Boeing Communication System messages, trip reports, meeting minutes, and reliability reports.
• Build and maintain relationships with Service Engineering, Field Service Representatives, Customer Engineering, Program Management, Sales, Airline Logistics, and other teams.
• Use program‑management skills to lead resolution of customer in‑service issues: assess priorities, determine resources, and create action plans to resolve the highest‑priority issues.
• Manage multiple projects and demands in a fast‑paced environment, communicating plans to internal and external organizations, and monitoring follow‑up to ensure execution and closure.
• Interact with senior level executives and mid‑level managers at airlines and at Boeing.
• Present to Airline Customer and Boeing Executive Leadership as needed.
• Work alternate shifts periodically to support the 24/7 needs of the customer.
• Travel domestically and internationally, with travel not exceeding 25%.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite at the Seal Beach, CA location.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or a non‑US equivalent directly related to the work.
• Five or more years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience. ABET accreditation is preferred but not required.
• Willingness to work extended hours as needed to meet business demands.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)

• Nine or more years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience. ABET accreditation is preferred but not required.
• Experience working with organizational leaders to develop and implement plans and objectives.
• Experience supporting technical questions for airplane programs or similar.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. Summary Pay Range

• Experienced (Level 3): $119,850 – $162,150
• Senior (Level 4): $146,200 – $197,800
