What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns observed during patrols within the utilities location.
• Assist with access control by verifying credentials of personnel and visitors entering the premises as required by site protocols.
• Communicate clearly and promptly with Allied Universal management and/or client representatives regarding incidents or concerns.
• Complete detailed and accurate reports of daily activities, incidents, and/or any security-related occurrences.
• Support emergency response efforts by following established procedures and coordinating with relevant personnel as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
