Primary Function
The Electrician, Maintenance performs a variety of electrical trade functions such as the installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment for the generation, distribution, or utilization of electric energy (Electrical Distribution System).
Responsibilities- Maintain and repair electrical equipment including generators, transformers, switchboards, controllers, circuit breakers, motors, heating units, conduit systems, and other transmission equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair large power interruptions and implement preventive measures to reduce outages.
- Test electrical systems and equipment for integrity and proper function.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and maps; locate and diagnose trouble in electrical systems or equipment using hand tools and measuring/instrumentation.
- Perform maintenance and repair on exterior lighting systems—streetlights, parking lot lights, and traffic lights.
- Provide on‑call services to support 24/7 emergency repairs.
- Complete other duties as assigned.

Desired Knowledge, Skills & Abilities- Capability to work on overhead lighting and lighting circuits, and all phases of exterior electric systems.
- Four (4) years of experience.
- Possess a C‑10 license.
- Capable of working safely on all high‑voltage systems (600 V and up), both above ground and underground.
- Practical knowledge of worksite safety, occupational hazards, and standard safety practices.
- In-depth knowledge of electrical safety and high/medium voltage regulations (NEC, NFPA 70E) and OSHA regulations.
- Fast‑paced, multi‑tasking, customer‑service‑oriented environment requiring efficient and effective performance.
- Adaptability to schedule and task changes necessary to accommodate shifting priorities.
