What You'll Be Doing- Operate dredge equipment safely and efficiently to extract sand and gravel.
- Monitor dredging operations and adjust controls to maintain optimal production.
- Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on dredge machinery.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and environmental regulations.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding operational needs.
- Ability to operate and maintain heavy equipment in a safe manner.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
- Capability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment.
- Basic mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting and minor repairs.
- Willingness to work night shifts and adapt to changing priorities.
- Successful candidate must submit to post‑offer pre‑employment physical examination, drug screen, and background check.
- Compliance with all company safety policies and procedures.
- Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
- Ability to stand, walk, and climb for extended periods.
- Frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs. and occasional lifting of heavier materials with assistance.
- Manual dexterity to operate controls and perform maintenance tasks.
- Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights as needed.
- Visual and auditory acuity to monitor equipment and surroundings safely.
- Starting Pay $28.64 per hour DOE
