Production Supervisor

About the Role Sika Corporation is looking for Production Supervisors to join its growing team for the roofing business in Sealy, TX. A Production Supervisor at Sika is a professional who oversees operations on their shift. The individual must be able to delegate tasks, resolve problems, and ensure a smooth operation with their assigned team of machine operators. Also, oversight of Cross-functional Teams for improvement projects.

This Leadership Development position provides an opportunity for advancement into management with advanced responsibilities in Operations.

Manage shift production, Employees time-off requests, and training

Assign duties to employees and oversee their development

Provide guidance and feedback to employees when needed

Ensure industry rules and regulations are followed through training

Handle Employee administrative needs with Human Resources Your Skills and Experience BS Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering5 – 8 years of Supervisory experience with dynamic continues processes

Knowledge of MS Office, (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to lift 50 pounds

Climb on/off lift trucks as well as in/out the cab of a truck if needed

Technical comprehension
