Mortars Operator

2nd Shift Monday-Friday 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM

• Follow all safety, security, and environmental policies and procedures.
• Maintain housekeeping standards and keep work areas clean and organized.
• Execute production processes according to quality standards and report any process deviations.
• Meet daily production schedules and productivity goals.
• Ensure materials and equipment are available and in proper working condition before production.
• Operate a forklift to unload finished pallets from the production line.
• Operate shrink-wrap machinery to prepare finished pallets for storage or shipment.
• Print inventory labels using SAP and move finished products into warehouse storage.
• Perform batch making, packaging, product setups, and changeovers as directed.
• Operate, maintain, and assist in troubleshooting production equipment.
• Support preventive maintenance activities.
• Train and assist new or temporary employees.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and other projects assigned by management.

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment.
• Chemical batch production experience preferred.
  
  Prior military experience is a plus.
• Ability to operate a forklift safely and efficiently.
• Experience using SAP or similar inventory management systems preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Positive attitude and strong commitment to safety, quality, and productivity.
