Overview
Dialysis Registered Nurse at DaVita Kidney Care – charge RN position requiring at least 6 months of Dialysis experience within the last 18 months. Outpatient dialysis center setting.
Responsibilities- Provide nursing care to dialysis patients in an outpatient setting, delivering care with empathy and compassion.
- Oversee a group of patients with the support of Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) to conduct patient observations, measure stats, and set up machines.
- Build meaningful and long-term relationships with patients and their families.
- Be part of a collaborative team that supports one another in a positive environment.
- Deliver care to patients with multiple co-morbidities requiring individualized treatment plans and a broad range of nursing skills.
- Float to various clinics during and after training and maintain a flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Care for patients in a setting that emphasizes quality, patient-centered service.
- Engage with a team that values collaboration and continuous improvement in patient health outcomes.
- Utilize clinical skills across a range of nephrology and dialysis-related tasks.

- Associates Degree in Nursing (A.D.N.) from an accredited school of nursing or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N.); a three-year diploma may be substituted for a nursing degree.
- Experience in ICU/CCU/ER or Medical-Surgical areas is helpful but not required.
- Certified Nephrology Nurse (CNN) or Certified Dialysis Nurse (CDN) preferred.
