The Forklift Operator plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient and safe movement of materials within the warehouse environment. This position is responsible for operating various types of forklifts and material handling equipment to load, unload, and transport goods accurately and promptly. The operator will contribute to maintaining organized inventory and supporting order fulfillment processes by handling pallets and products with care.

- Valid forklift operator certification or license.
- Proven experience operating forklifts and pallet jacks in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Basic knowledge of warehouse safety protocols and material handling procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret order sheets and use RF scanners for inventory management.
- Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting, standing, and operating machinery for extended periods.
- Experience operating multiple types of forklifts, including clamp trucks and stand-up forklifts.
- Familiarity with general warehouse operations and order picking processes.
- Previous experience working with electric pallet jacks and pallet handling equipment.
- Basic mechanical skills for minor forklift maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Operate forklifts, including stand‑up forklifts, clamp trucks, and electric pallet jacks, to move materials within the warehouse safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload goods from trucks, trailers, and storage areas while ensuring proper stacking and securing of items.
- Use RF scanners and other warehouse technology to accurately pick and track orders, maintaining inventory accuracy.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance checks on forklifts and related equipment to ensure operational safety and report any malfunctions.
- Collaborate with warehouse team members to coordinate order picking, packing, and shipping activities while adhering to safety standards.
The required skills such as forklift operation, electric pallet jack handling, and use of stand‑up forklifts and clamp trucks are essential for safely and efficiently moving materials throughout the warehouse.
