Job SummaryCore Personnel Staffing is hiring a Certified Forklift Operator for a premier building materials manufacturer and distributor in Sealy, TX
.
In this role, you will be responsible for operating a forklift to safely load and unload products, assist customers, perform cycle counts, and keep the material yard and warehouse running smoothly and efficiently.
Key ResponsibilitiesForklift & Material Handling:
Safely operate a forklift to move, load, and unload heavy building materials in accordance with company safety standards.
Yard & Warehouse Maintenance:
Maintain the organization, cleanliness, and efficiency of the brick yard and warehouse storage areas.
Inventory Control:
Perform routine cycle counts and assist with material identification and tracking.
Customer Service:
Provide courteous and direct assistance to arriving drivers and customers loading product.
Equipment Care:
Perform routine minor maintenance checks on operating equipment and report any needed repairs.
Experience:
3+ months of related forklift, warehouse, or building materials yard experience.
Skills:
Ability to quickly identify materials, execute basic time management, and prioritize task lists.
Physical Demands:
Must be able to regularly lift 25–50 lbs.
Screening & Exams:
Ability to pass a Hazmat exam, as well as pre-employment drug screening and background checks (Safety-Sensitive Position).
