Teacher Assistant, Full Time role at Unity Health
ResponsibilitiesThe Teacher Assistant is responsible for caring for children, maintaining a clean and orderly classroom, evaluating the needs of each child, and providing educational activities and theme units. The role builds rapport with parents, provides general information on each child, and informs parents of any needs and accomplishments.
Qualifications- Education:
High School graduate or equivalent. - Training and
Experience:
Six (6) months experience or education or credentials considered equivalent. CPR certification must be completed within the first three (3) months of employment. Ten (10) hours of educational in‑service training must be completed annually. - Job Knowledge:
Knowledge of developmental stages of children, potty training, diaper changing, program planning, daily lesson planning, and communication with parents, co‑workers, and medical staff. - Safety Sensitive:
