Childrens Ministerq

The Downtown Church of Christ is seeking a relational, organized, and spirit-led leader to serve as our Children's Minister. Our mission is to partner with families to raise children who are the W.O.R.D. made flesh:
Worshipful, Obedient, Relational Disciple-makers.

In this role, you won't just be managing classrooms; you will be the architect of a child's first experiences with the heart of God. You will work alongside our Early Childhood Minister to provide a balanced, diverse leadership team that reflects the fullness of our church family. With administrative and coordination support provided by our Student Ministry Administrative Assistant, you can give your energy to relationally leading and ministering to families and volunteers.

We offer a competitive vacation plan for both work days and Sundays, that allows you the necessary time to rest, relax, and recharge.

Ministers are allowed time out of the office for continued education at conferences or events. And located near Harding University, there's always an opportunity to learn something new.

We encourage our ministers to live healthy, Spirit-filled lives andencouragethem to spend timeeach month in Silence & Solitude offsite.

We value the well-being of our leaders and offer regular sabbaticals to help our ministers keep their 'cups' full.

Experience
