• Education:
  
  Certified or registered Medical Assistant from an accredited institution (RMA).
• Training and
  
  Experience:
  
  Minimum of 2 years of medical office experience preferred in a clinical setting. Lab, EKG and X-ray experience preferred.
• Job Knowledge:
  Understands role within a medical care team, aware of limitations and responsibilities, and skilled at effectively communicating with patients or their delegates.
• Safety Sensitive: YES

• Patient preparation and assist physician with procedures and minor surgeries.
• Perform various diagnostic tests and patient education in the clinic.
• Maintain equipment and act as liaison between the physician and outside agencies (hospitals, nursing homes, DME companies, pharmacies, HMO’s, and other physician’s offices).
• Support other medical staff members as necessary to maintain patient flow.

Days: 8-5 Monday to Friday (40 hours/week)
