- Education:
High school diploma or equivalent. Must have Arkansas HPBL, or the ability to obtain. - Training and
Experience:
Previous hospital experience preferred. Skilled knowledge of plumbing, electricity, construction (carpentry), pneumatics and HVAC equipment and systems. - Job Knowledge:
Ability to read and interpret blueprints. - Safety Sensitive: YES
- All phases of general maintenance work (painting, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, HVAC, etc.).
- Ability to communicate (oral and written).
- Act as a security guard as needed.
- Ability to lift heavy objects.
- Ability to assume rotating shifts after initial orientation period.
- Ability to take oral and written instruction.
- Self-starter.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to use hands to handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; climb or balance; stoop; kneel; crouch or crawl; and taste or smell. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
Full‑time.
Sunday - Wednesday
10:00 am – 8:30 pm
40 hours per week
