Salary: $27 – $32 hourly

Under the supervision of the Assistant Director of Operations, the Operations Coordinator supports the Student Housing and Residential Life team by facilitating room assignments, managing housing data, coordinating move‑in processes, and providing clerical support to both students and staff.
Key Responsibilities- Process, review, and enter student housing applications into the housing information system.
- Maintain accurate housing database files and verify student information across CMS and other campus systems.
- Coordinate room and housing assignments, including semester changes, move‑in and move‑out processes, and wait‑list management.
- Communicate assignment information, room changes, and student departure or arrival notifications to appropriate staff.
- Assist with student billing charges for room, board and key events, and generate financial reports.
- Provide general clerical support, including correspondence, memos, reports, and statistical data requests.
- Support front desk operations and oversee desk operations for the transfer student housing community.
- Collaborate with campus partners (Facilities, Admissions, Records, Dining, International, etc.) to resolve housing‑related issues.
- Assist with outreach and recruitment efforts for student housing as needed.
- Four years of progressively increasing general clerical responsibilities that involve monitoring and coordinating clerical work through internal procedures.
- High school diploma or equivalency; a college degree is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer‑service orientation and ability to explain complex procedures to students and staff.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access, and general office software skills.
- Ability to interpret and apply complex policies and procedures independently.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to drive as a condition of employment.
- Experience with housing application/payment processes and related software.
- Knowledge of People Soft.

Hourly rate: $27 – $32
