Patient Driver at Providence Seaside Hospital – Full Time, Day Shift

Position

Purpose:

Provide transportation, companionship, and assistance to program‑eligible clients within Clatsop County and to Portland or Longview for medical appointments as needed. The Driver also backs up the Volunteer Coordinator in the Volunteer Services office when required.

Providence Seaside Hospital’s Partners for Seniors program supports community members who may have personal limitations so they can maintain independence. As a Driver, you will transport clients or provide companionship/assistance tasks, ensuring each client feels dignified and cared for.

• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance; proof required upon request.
• Minimum 5 years of driving experience.
• Job requires compliance with all state laws and driving regulations.

• Experience transporting clients.

Competitive wages of $18.00 – $25.03 per hour, with possible shift differentials, standby/on‑call pay, overtime, and bonus opportunities.
