SENIOR ACCOUNTANT

AIRLINE COMPANY

ONSITE IN THE GREATER SEATTLE AREA, WA

$44.44-$48.50/hour, $7,821-$8,536/month COMPENSATION RATE (depending on experience)

PLEASE NOTE:
This role is not open to Corp to Corp.

• Record journal entries for assigned functional areas on a monthly basis
• Provide efficient and accurate reconciliation of assigned balance sheet accounts
• Perform variance fluctuation analysis of P&L accounts compared to plan and period over period changes in income statement and balance sheet accounts
• Assist in the preparation of monthly closing packages for all entities
• Assist in documentation and monitoring of internal controls
• Ownership of the financial reporting process, including preparation of Form 10-Q, Form 10-K, Form 8-K and press releases
• Identify and drive process improvement initiatives
• Other duties as assigned
• Conduct oneself with Professionalism, Integrity, Resourcefulness and Caring

• Credit hold monitoring
• Excel uploads
• Data Cleanup

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
• Strong understanding of accounting theory required
• Demonstrate technical knowledge of accounting procedures and a strong understanding of GAAP required
• CPA license or exam eligibility preferred
• 3 years of public accounting required
• Public accounting experience in a Big 4 or other national preferred
• Auditing skills, with the ability to research and reconcile difficult accounts required
• People Soft experience preferred
• SEC and financial reporting experience preferred
• Working knowledge of Web filings software preferred
• Experience tagging financial statements with XBRL preferred
• Advanced MS Office skills with an emphasis on MS Excel required
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required
• Strong organization and time management skills required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required
• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs required
• Ability to act and operate independently with minimal daily direction from manager required

Duration: ASAP to start, to run through April 2026, with chance to extend.

Location: Role is onsite in Sea Tac, WA.

Daily

Schedule:

M-F, 40 hours a week, no OT anticipated.

Hardware: Client will provide.

Role Requirements: Client requires a background test & drug screen before start.
