Job DescriptionVillage Pub Sea Tac is seeking a Food Server who will be responsible for creating an exceptional dining experience by providing friendly, efficient, and accurate service. This role includes taking and entering orders promptly, delivering food and beverages, collaborating closely with the kitchen team, and ensuring every guest receives attentive and high‑quality service. The Food Server supports overall restaurant operations and performs additional tasks as assigned by management.

Reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required).
- Welcome, greet, and seat guests in a warm and professional manner.
- Present menus, explain offerings, and provide knowledgeable recommendations.
- Suggest appetizers, beverages, and enhancements to elevate the guest experience and promote higher per‑check averages.
- Accurately take food and beverage orders—including allergy and dietary notes—and enter them into the POS system promptly.
- Deliver food and drinks efficiently while ensuring correct order placement and presentation.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and address guest needs.
- Safely balance and carry plates, trays, and beverages to guest tables.
- Provide attentive table service, including refilling drinks, checking in on guest satisfaction, and anticipating needs.
- Maintain the dining area by setting tables, polishing glassware, folding napkins, and replenishing condiments and supplies.
- Complete all assigned side work, including tasks within the Jolt application.
- Collaborate with team members to support smooth and efficient operations.
- Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines in accordance with company and regulatory standards.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- At least 3 years of serving experience in the food and beverage industry.
- Proven ability to manage large sections (e.g., 6–8 tables or up to 25 guests at once).
- Working knowledge of food safety, health, and sanitation standards.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage guests and colleagues in a friendly, enthusiastic, and positive manner.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment and remain calm under pressure.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly in English.
- Valid King County Food Handler's Card required.
- Valid MAST permit required.
- Flexibility to work varying hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- The ability to submit to and pass a background check and drug test is required.
- Work in an open‑air environment and move throughout the restaurant within the airport.
- Must possess the ability to lift, bend, and kneel.
- Must be able to stand and walk swiftly for long periods of time while carrying large service trays.
- Ability to work in environments that can be smoky, noisy, hot, cold, or humid.
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds without assistance and lift 50 pounds with assistance.
