About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Safety Clerk/Coordinator to join our team in Sea Tac, WA.

This is a Field position with responsibility for monitoring driver SOP and working with the department to ensure compliance; in addition to maintaining and monitoring employee safety within our buildings.

The ideal candidate will have a background in ramp or safety experience or have recently supervisory experience.

You must be able to work 3:30am to 12:00pm Wednesday through Sunday, however you need to be flexible depending on operational needs.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for SOP training for all new drivers and re-training of drivers
• Responsible for updating and maintaining all driver files
• Processing of all Port Authority/Customs identifications
• Responsible for ensuring all drivers adhere to A-1 Inspection procedures
• Assist the Ramp Safety Supervisor as needed and perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to obtain Airport SIDA badge and CBP Customs Seal within 30 days of hire
• 3-5 years of safety experience preferred; AOA ramp experience may be substituted year for year for Safety experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook and other computer applications
• Ability to work with minimum supervision
• Strong analytical, verbal, written, interpersonal and organizational skills
• Detail oriented
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with large groups – must be flexible
