As an Air Logistics Warehouse Associate you will contribute to the timely delivery of express packages by loading and unloading air freight containers, moving containers from airplane to truck for on‑time delivery to our customers at our airport location. This cross‑dock operation involves moving express packages from aircraft to warehouse to trucks with no/minimal storage. Our indoor facility is an open‑air environment, not temperature controlled, and you may work in or around aircraft.

• Load and unload express packages from air freight containers to and from semi‑trucks in a widely dispersed area.
• Sort, scan and move small packages within the warehouse.
• Build up / break down package containers ready for outbound/inbound flights.
• Remove tie‑downs and other gear when loading and unloading.
• Operate air freight handling equipment such as pallet jacks and gaylords (push carts).
• Weigh, label, and make/break‑down gaylords or air freight containers.
• Check air express containers for proper piece count, weight, dimensions and documents as appropriate per air safety and security guidelines.
• Report to position on time, as scheduled, including mandatory overtime requirements, varying shifts, weekends and holidays.
• Successfully complete required computer‑based and on‑the‑job trainings.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures and performance standards.
• Perform all functions in accordance with safety procedures and policies.
• Work outdoors with exposure to extreme weather/elements, engine noise and noxious fumes.

• High School Diploma, GED or international equivalent required.
• One‑year experience in a similar role preferred not required.
• Valid driver’s license (depending on station).
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be able to work weekends (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) and holidays.
• Ability to read, write and understand the English language.
• Ability to understand and react to verbal commands and safety warnings, with or without assistance of sight or visual aids.

• Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends (Friday, Saturday and Sunday), holidays and days off.
• Ability to judge distances.
• Ability to successfully communicate with others.

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, multiple times a day.
• Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions, including hot and cold temperatures, rain, wind and snow.
• Ability to stand for an entire shift and move long distances across our facilities by foot.
