Senior Accountant

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. This role will be responsible for managing the day-to-day accounting operations, preparing financial statements, supporting month-end and year-end close, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies. The Senior Accountant will work closely with leadership, providing insights and analysis to support decision-making.

$40.00/hr - $50.00/hr

• Manage general ledger accounting, including journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and allocations.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and expense reporting as needed.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies.
• Assist with audits, tax filings, and regulatory reporting.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Mentor and support junior accounting staff.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CPA candidate preferred).
• 4–7 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Proficiency with accounting software (Net Suite, Oracle, Quick Books, or similar) and advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
