Base pay range$43.85/hr - $54.82/hr
This position is a time-limited role, lasting up to 2 years (24 months), established to support a multi-year Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system upgrade. The selected candidate will backfill the job duties of current staff assigned to the project.
Basic ResponsibilitiesSupports the timely, accurate and complete accounting of business activity and transactional data as a shared service for the District. Learns and applies business processes that ensure the District remains in compliance with accounting laws, regulations, and internal directives. Supports the research and analysis for the development of business processes that impact the District’s ability to account for assets, taxes, accounts payable, accounts receivable, labor and maintain the general ledger effectively.
Supports internal controls over compliance, financial reporting, business applications and data governance. Supports the District’s core values as well as its cost and fiscal management strategic priorities.
- Master's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field;
- Active CPA or CMA License, AND
- Two (2) years of progressively more responsible payroll, accounting, or finance experience;
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field, AND
- Two (2) years of progressively more responsible payroll, accounting, or finance experience;
- Associate's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field, AND
- Four (4) years of progressively more responsible payroll, accounting, or finance experience.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) License
- CMA License
- Other Professional Accounting certification(s)
