JOB LOCATION:

We are seeking a temporary contractor Accountant to support our internal accounting team. Work will include but is not limited to completing account reconciliations, journal entries, supporting audit requests and other accounting tasks. Accounting degree and experience completing the above tasks is a requirement. Looking for someone who is a self-starter, can work independently, and has a strong attention to detail.

• Perform and help oversee financial closing activities, such as preparing and reviewing journal entries
• Analyze financial results and communicate them with stakeholders
• Support audit requirements including internal, external and compliance audits
• Work with your peers to identify and implement process improvements
• Prepare and present working papers and accurate supporting documentation to leaders
• Participate in special projects, developmental opportunities, and other tasks as assigned

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
• One to three years of experience with progressing levels of responsibility.
• CPA licensed or CPA eligibility is preferred but not required.

• Hourly contract rate range of $29.00 to $35.00 based on experience and qualifications, as well as geographical market and business considerations.
