Because of our incredible growth, we are looking to add a full‑time, experienced Senior Accountant. The Senior Accountant will manage various general accounting, analysis and financial reporting processes for an entity of the Company to ensure timely and accurate financial information in accordance with accrual US GAAP. Key duties include the Sales to Collections and Procure to Pay business cycles, performing monthly close processes, performing balance sheet account analysis, supporting annual audits, improving processes and data integrity for workflows, creating efficiencies in department functions, and handling management requests and special projects.

The position reports to the Director of Accounting and Finance.

You will also:

• Performs the monthly accounting close process and overall management of the entity’s general ledger
• Establishes accounting processes for the entity
• Obtains and maintains a thorough understanding of financial reporting and general ledger structure
• Monitors and analyzes department work to develop efficient procedures and use of resources while maintaining a high level of accuracy
• Assists in development and implementation of policies and procedures for accounting activities and functions
• Assists with annual audit process to provide all requested information during audit and otherwise
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and prepare account reconciliations
• Billing and collections and payments of invoices for the entity
• Inventory management

The Senior Accountant should possess the following:

• B.S. Accounting or Finance or higher (CPA Preferred)
• Skilled with process improvement – removing time out of an accounting process or automating accounting steps to make things easier to do is a major piece of this role
• 5+ years’ experience in general accounting
• Knowledge of GAAP, accounting rules, regulations, policies, and internal controls
• Advance Microsoft Excel skills (power user: pivot tables, sum if, macro, xlookup, no programming required) and proficiency with automated accounting systems
• Net Suite experience a plus
• Travel less than 10%
