Staff Project Accountant

Location: Seattle, WA On site

Salary: $78,000 - $82,000 DOE

Key Responsibilities for the Staff Project Accountant:

• Manage project setup, job costing, change orders, billing, and project closeout activities within the ERP system
  
  • Process and reconcile accounts receivable, customer billings, collections, and payment applications
  
  • Review and process vendor invoices, subcontractor billings, and accounts payable transactions
  
  • Prepare account reconciliations, journal entries, financial reports, and tax-related filings
  
  • Support month-end close, audits, and subcontractor compliance administration

Qualifications for the Staff Project Accountant:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  
  • 3+ years of accounting experience
  
  • Strong understanding of GAAP, general ledger accounting, AP, AR, and job costing
  
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP/accounting software
  
  • Construction accounting experience preferred
