- Prepare and review external financial statements, footnote disclosures, and supporting schedules, and own the external reporting calendar.
- Serve as the go-to resource on U.S. GAAP, documenting complex and non-routine transactions in technical accounting memos.
- Monitor and implement new accounting guidance (ASUs), and maintain company-wide accounting policies.
- Manage global consolidation across multiple entities, currencies, and ERPs, including intercompany eliminations, FX translation, and top-side entries.
- Oversee complex accounting areas, including goodwill, intangibles, debt, derivatives, and equity, and ensure reconciliations are accurate and timely.
- Maintain strong internal controls and drive improvements that shorten the close and reporting cycle.
- Support the implementation and ongoing use of Workiva.
- Partner with treasury, tax, legal, FP&A, IT, business unit finance, and external auditors.
- Deep U.S. GAAP knowledge and experience in external reporting and consolidations.
- Strong ownership, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Clear communication with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Sound judgment and a proactive, continuous-improvement mindset.
