Staff Product Manager, Tenant Screening - Seattle, WAWe’re looking for a Staff Product Manager to lead our core tenant screening product, which sits at the center of Rent Spree’s platform. This role is critical in helping us deliver a best-in-class screening journey that drives value for agents, landlords, and applicants.
This is a high-impact, high-visibility role with significant ownership. You will be responsible for defining and executing the product strategy. You’ll work cross-functionally with design, engineering, legal and compliance, marketing, and customer success to bring high-quality experiences to market and solve complex, user-centered problems.
We’re looking for a product leader who thrives in ambiguity, values fast iteration and discovery, and brings strong systems thinking to scale an already successful product. This person should be passionate about creating intuitive user experiences and capable of translating user needs and business objectives into simple, scalable solutions.
You’ll thrive in this role if you enjoy solving complex, ambiguous problems, building simple product experiences, and taking pride in understanding users deeply. The work you do here will have a direct and measurable impact on our users and our business.
This role will be based in Seattle, with in-office collaboration 2 days per week.
What You’ll Do- Own the end-to-end product strategy, roadmap, and execution for Rent Spree’s core tenant screening product
- Deeply understand the needs of our users through qualitative and quantitative insights
- Partner closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality experiences at speed
- Define clear success metrics and drive measurable impact
- Prioritize and communicate tradeoffs clearly
- Champion simplicity, accessibility, and clarity across all aspects of the user journey
- 6+ years of product management experience, including experience in a high-growth environment
- Strong product sense and product fundamentals
- A bias for action:
Move quickly, remove blockers, and find scrappy paths forward without sacrificing quality - Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Analytical fluency with the ability to interpret data, size opportunities, and define clear, measurable success metrics
- Nice to Have:
Experience with products related to credit scores, credit reporting and/or monitoring, credit bureaus, background checks, identity and/or income verification, eviction history, etc
