MLDP Overview
Imagine yourself at the heart of Amazon's innovative retail ecosystem, where every decision you make impacts millions of customers. The MLDP internship launches your journey into Amazon's retail leadership pipeline. Beginning as a Senior Vendor Manager intern, you'll gain hands-on experience in P&L ownership and strategic business management. Upon successfully completing your MBA and joining full-time, you'll embark on a structured three-year leadership development journey.

The program starts with a year as Senior Vendor Manager, followed by a year as Senior Product Manager, and concludes with a year as Senior Supply Chain Manager. Each one-year rotation is designed to build comprehensive retail leadership capabilities while delivering immediate business impact.

Summer Internship Focus
As a Senior Vendor Manager intern, you'll:
- Develop and optimize strategic vendor relationships that enhance product selection and customer experience
- Conduct comprehensive financial analyses to identify revenue-generating opportunities
- Leverage market insights to drive customer-focused improvements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative business solutions
- Analyze complex market trends and translate them into actionable strategies

Future MLDP Opportunities
Successful interns may be considered for the full MLDP program, which includes:
- Strategic rotations across Vendor Management, Product Management, and Supply Chain

- Conduct financial analysis of business opportunities to meet and exceed revenue and profitability targets by executing annual and ongoing vendor negotiations.

- Build vendor/brand relationships - be the primary point of contact for vendor selection on-boarding, escalations, and negotiations.
