Fully Remote Opportunity - Retirement Plan Sales Consultant - Pacific Northwest Territory
This position involves selling recordkeeping, third-party administration, and defined benefit services. The role includes cross-selling employee benefit products offered by our Partner Firms within the Pacific Northwest territory. Compensation consists of a base salary + commission, with the base likely in the $60k-$80k range.
Responsibilities:
- Achieve sales goals and objectives.
- Secure new clients through in-person meetings and group presentations with distribution partners, financial intermediaries, and plan sponsors.
- Develop and implement business development and sales plans.
- Prepare and communicate activity and pipeline reports.
- Assist in developing new distribution partnerships.
- Maintain effective control of sales metrics and budgets.
- Monitor, evaluate, and report on sales trends.
- Gather and communicate competitor information, including marketing activities, trends, products, services, and pricing.
- Manage contacts, pipelines, and customer experience.
- Provide feedback and solutions on sales and marketing strategies.
- Establish a successful track record in selling retirement and employee benefit programs.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Job RequirementsDesired Skills and Experience:
- 10+ years of related business development experience, including selling qualified retirement plans through multiple channels.
- Advanced problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration preferred.
- NASD Series 65 or 66/63 required or within 60 days of employment.
- Master’s Degree in Business Administration preferred.
- Ability to articulate interest (or lack thereof) in the opportunity.
Confident in asking questions, listening, and understanding factors influencing career decisions.
