Director, Market Performance & Integration Responsibilities
- Assess financial and operational performance across markets and acquired businesses, analyzing P&Ls, utilization, productivity, and other indicators to identify risks, gaps, and opportunities.
- Turn performance findings into clear recommendations and action plans for senior leaders.
- Support operational and financial diligence on prospective acquisitions, evaluating risks, dependencies, and integration needs.
- Develop and lead integration plans (30/60/90-day and longer-term) across corporate, market, and acquired teams, including milestones, owners, and success measures.
- Support the transition of acquired businesses into our operating model, processes, systems, and performance expectations, and monitor progress to keep integration on track.
- Track performance against acquisition assumptions and drive initiatives that improve revenue, provider productivity, staffing efficiency, utilization, and margin.
- Establish KPIs and executive-ready dashboards to monitor market performance, integration progress, and value realization, and identify leading indicators of risk.
- Build relationships with market executives, physicians, functional leaders, and acquired leadership teams to drive alignment and accountability across work streams.
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA, MHA, or related Master's preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in healthcare operations, strategy, consulting, corporate development, or M&A integration, with an understanding of how clinical, operational, and financial performance intersect.
- Strong analytical and financial skills, including P&L analysis and business case development, with the ability to move from data to clear recommendations.
- Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives through influence across multiple organizational levels.
- Strong project and program management skills, including managing multiple work streams, dependencies, and competing priorities.
- Strong executive communication skills and comfort operating in ambiguous, fast-changing, high-growth environments.
