Plymouth Housing is a nonprofit organization that develops and operates permanent supportive housing for single adults who have experienced chronic homelessness. With apartment buildings throughout King County, we believe everyone deserves a safe home and the opportunity to thrive. That’s why we provide long-term housing paired with on-site services that promote stability, health, and community. Our culture is rooted in dignity, respect, and shared responsibility:
We practice hospitality, communicate with care, and collaborate across differences. We value lived experience, cultural responsiveness, and approaches grounded in harm reduction, trauma-informed practice, and resident choice. We look for people who are committed to safety, learning, and continuous improvement — and who bring steady, values‑aligned service in moments that are complex or high‑stress.

In this role, you’ll serve as a subject matter expert on FCS program requirements, helping staff translate policy into everyday practice that supports client success and program integrity.

The FCS Specialist provides a blend of training, coaching, and data management—helping teams apply FCS standards with confidence, troubleshooting challenges, and ensuring accurate documentation for compliance and reporting. Working closely with program leadership and frontline staff, this position helps ensure our FCS services are delivered consistently, documented correctly, and align with Medicaid billing requirements.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Deliver onboarding and ongoing training for staff on FCS program rules, documentation standards, and billing fundamentals.
  • Translate complex Medicaid and FCS requirements into clear, usable tools and guidance.
  • Provide on‑site coaching and technical support to reinforce learning and improve workflow efficiency.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate FCS enrollment and service data across systems, resolving discrepancies and supporting quality improvement.
  • Collaborate with internal partners to evaluate documentation trends, address training needs, and ensure compliance.
