Montlake Baby & Toddler Nanny

We’re seeking a reliable, loving nanny and family assistant to support a busy household with two little ones—an active 2.5-year-old and a curious 8-month-old. The right candidate is experienced with infants and toddlers, confident juggling varying needs, and enjoys contributing to a smooth-running home through both childcare and light household tasks.

Location: Montlake, WA (98112)
Start Date: February 2, 2026 (flexible)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m. (45 hrs/week)
Pay: $30–$40/hour DOE

About the Family:
This family values structure, consistency, and open communication. The 3-year-old attends daycare during the week except for Tuesdays, so the position will primarily focus on caring for the baby! Dad works out of the home while Mom works in a separate office within the home and they are looking for a nanny who is warm, patient, and self‑directed. Their baby is an easygoing, social little one who loves interaction and engaging activities.

They’re seeking someone who takes the initiative, communicates clearly, and has positive, long-term relationships with previous families. They also have a 30lb Cocker Spaniel service dog who is absolutely a member of the family!

Responsibilities Include:

• Supporting feeding, diapering, nap routines, and age-appropriate play
• Engaging the baby in developmental activities (little gym, reading, songs, sensory play)
• Preparing simple, healthy meals and snacks for the children
• Errands and school pick‑up/drop‑off
• Managing children’s laundry, dishes, and tidying up play areas
• Maintaining consistency and structure throughout the day

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of childcare experience
• 3 long-term childcare references available upon request
• The ability to commit long-term
• CPR certified (or willing to obtain certification)
• Guaranteed hours
• Paid time off
• Legal pay in line with WA state labor laws
