As a Back Up Nanny, you will provide flexible, on‑call childcare support for families across Seattle, Bellevue, and Redmond, WA. You will care for children ranging from infants to toddlers, with a focus on those under 2 years of age. The role does not require transportation or household chores beyond common‑sense cleanup of the child’s activities or meals.

• Care for children in the family’s home
• Perform basic cleanup of the child’s activities or meals
• Support families when they need care, giving priority to children under the age of 2
• Engage children with safety and creativity by leading hands‑on activities appropriate to their developmental stage

• Pay: $20–$25 per hour
• Paid training and a nanny kit with age‑appropriate activities and games

• At least 18 years old
• Experience working with children, paid or unpaid; infant experience mandatory
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to various homes in the area
• Available 4 or more days for 6–8 hour shifts between 7 am and 7 pm

• Active, child‑centric environment with cleanup of activities
• Part of each day may be spent outside, weather permitting, including active play

• Regular lifting, bending, squatting, reaching, and pushing required
• Must be able to lift 35 pounds safely
• Must be able to get up from and down to the floor numerous times throughout the day
• Must react quickly to emergent situations in a calm, effective, and safe manner
