Job OverviewACG Builds is on the rise, and we're looking for a sharp, motivated Construction Project Engineer to support commercial construction projects across the Seattle metro area. As a Project Engineer, you'll work directly with a Project Manager, Assistant PM, and Superintendent, providing critical support from preconstruction to closeout. You'll coordinate subcontractors, manage documents, track progress, and contribute to a job well done—every single day.

Key Responsibilities- Support the Superintendent, Project Manager, or Assistant PM with scheduling, progress tracking, and construction coordination
- Provide weekly updates on project performance and milestones
- Issue RFPs and gather subcontractor bids
- Organize and lead subcontractor site walk-throughs
- Evaluate subcontractor proposals and assist with bid scopes and negotiations
- Manage submittals, shop drawings, and RFIs
- Maintain current project logs and punch lists
- Assist with jobsite quality control and documentation
- Ensure jobsite drawings, specifications, and as‑builts are up to date
- Participate in safety monitoring and compliance
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field from a 4‑year university
- At least 1 year of experience as a Project Engineer, or equivalent internship/training
- Strong knowledge of plan reading, submittals, specifications, and construction processes
- Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
- Ability to foster positive relationships with owners, subcontractors, engineers, and inspectors
- Familiarity with multi‑story and concrete structures preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Project, Procore, and Bluebeam
