Responsibilities- Develop and maintain accurate pre-construction and construction estimates in collaboration with project managers
- Lead lump sum and GMP project bidding processes and resolve technical details in the pre-construction phase
- Build estimates grounded in design, constructability, logistics, and sequencing knowledge
- Cultivate subcontractor relationships for estimating, bidding, and project awards
- Prepare estimate presentations, budget control reports, and documentation for client presentations
- Conduct comprehensive quantity take-offs and maintain quantity controls across all disciplines, including civil, structural, finishes, mechanical, and electrical
- Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or Engineering with 5+ years in construction/estimating preferred, or an equivalent blend of education and experience
- Familiarity with estimating software (e.g., Construct Connect, Pro Est, On-Screen, Bluebeam or similar), as well as AutoCAD, Revit, Sketch-Up, and proficiency in MS Office Suite
- Strong understanding of construction methods, processes, and management practices
- Ability to interpret construction documents and apply them effectively to estimating
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders, from subcontractors to project teams and company leadership
