We are currently seeking a highly motivated Assistant Project Manager (Public Works Construction) located in Seattle, WA.
Required Education
- Bachelor’s degree
- Certified Construction Manager (CCM)
- Certified Associate Construction Manager (CACM)
- Design-Build Professional (DBIA)
- PMP
Required Qualifications
In order to become a candidate, you must possess the following skills and abilities:
- 8-10 years of construction management experience
- Clear communicator verbally and written
- Ability to re-direct focus and maintain sight on ongoing tasks
- High aptitude for details
- Ability to manage multiple projects at one time
- Experience with GCCM Delivery
- Assist staff in reviewing and analyzing contractor project schedules
- Regularly attend meetings along with or in the representation of County and contractor
- Work with contractors to plan and coordinate work, and resolve issues in work areas
- Address scheduling concerns, sequence operations, and other contract labor compliance and administrative matters
- Support communication and implementation of safety rules and regulations
- Observe and identify any non-compliance with plans and specifications
- Execute knowledge of Capital Improvement Project (CIP) work
- Experience with SharePoint, Microsoft Project
- Experience with HVAC, civil, storage tanks and bus lift construction, installation and maintenance.
- $45.00 – $50.00 per hour
A bonus may be granted to employees depending on individual performance, employee utilization, attendance, tenure, and furtherance of other non-financial corporate goals; bonus opportunities are available at management’s discretion.
