Role Summary

Rowan Digital Infrastructure is looking for a Construction Project Manager to manage all facets of a large-scale data center campus build and serve as the Rowan client‑facing representative and key point of connection for the Rowan Engineering & Construction Teams.

The successful candidate will have the experience, knowledge and leadership skills to manage the construction teams and activities at a hyperscale data center campus to a safe and successful delivery, with quality, on time and on budget. The successful candidate will also have a deep understanding of all facets of the building process, from the initial planning and foundational work through to project completion and turnover.

Travel

& Location
  • Temple, Texas (Location of project‑preferred location)
  • Weekly site visits encouraged
  • Hybrid presence in Denver or Kansas City can also be an option
  • 50% travel (Site visit every 3‑4 weeks) with travel lessening as project progresses
  • Occasional travel to Rowan Office locations for team gatherings
Compensation: Base Salary $165‑$185K - Offers Bonus Essential Responsibilities
  • Responsible for actively monitoring the safety of all site infrastructure, substation and core/shell construction.
  • General project management in all day‑to‑day construction activities and finances related to the project.
  • Monthly invoicing and budgeting as well as the ability to support company finance team in monthly, quarterly and yearly cash flow reporting and projecting.
  • Ability to plan and lead OAC meetings.
  • Work closely with Rowan pre‑con, project executive, PMs, safety and quality assurance team members.
  • Develop trusting relationships with clients, JHA’s, GC’s, sub‑contractors to aid in the successful delivery of the project.
  • Conduct weekly/daily delay surveys to maintain CPM schedule and work with PMs to update schedule in real‑time.
  • Work with Rowan team members as we approach substantial completion to assemble all close out documents, O&M manuals and warranty, preventive maintenance agreements‑etc.
Education, Skills, and Experience
  • Relevant college degree or commiserate relevant experience
  • Relevant Construction PM experience for a decently sized general contractor
  • Spent time in construction trailers
  • PMP
  • OSHA training
  • Background in Data Center development
  • Be familiar with large projects or have a long history of many projects
  • Knowledge of construction worksite safety practices
  • Proficient in Procore and other construction management software
  • Working knowledge of green building practices
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced and highly cross‑functional environment
