LOCATION:

ONSITE IN SEATTLE, WAPAY RATE: $54 - $64 HOURLYThe team is s an internal team aiming to elevate the impact of design and our reputation as a top destination for design talent. We are looking for a talented and passionate Creative (Art Director) to create visuals for a wide range of projects. You'll lead projects and own relationships, focusing on creating work that benefits our design community while pushing the creative envelope from brief to execution.

From ideation through launch, you will be responsible for delivering beautiful, insightful and data-driven concepts that translate needs and constraints into customer-focused ideas and solutions. You will be equally strong at concept and execution, articulating end-to-end experiences, and turning that vision into high-quality experiences. This could include video content, user interface designs, presentation design, event signage, and swag. This role will use data and insights to create campaign strategy and concepts, develop designs and the look and feel for experiences, as well as templates for events and experiences that will solve customer problems, on and off Amazon platforms.

Candidates should be able to deliver high-quality designs and stellar art direction across different touch points. Candidates should have in-depth understanding of Photoshop, Illustrator, Power point, and Figma. For this role, we’re looking for a conceptual art director who also has strong design skills and an understanding of UX design.

You have strong conceptual, presentation, storytelling and time management skills, work well under pressure, as well as digital media, and of course, an acute attention to detail.

Key job responsibilities
• Concept, design (art) and execute innovative creative for events and experiences.
• Partner with copywriters, designers, program managers, developers strategists and producers to create customer-focused solutions that deliver on objectives.
• Independently lead creative work streams and collaborate with internal teams, clients and external agency partners.
• Obsessed with understanding customers and making work that delivers both innovation and results.
• Present ideas and concepts internally.
• Proven ability to ideate for print, digital, web, experiential and social.
• Ability to manage multiple projects at once within budget and deadlines.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Conceptual creative (Art Director) experience at advertising agencies and/or as an in-house creative.

- An online creative portfolio demonstrating a conceptual thinking skillset, art direction branding and design.

- In-depth understanding of industry design tools (Ex. Adobe Creative Cloud, Figma and Illustrator), and a advanced understanding of UX design.

- Data-driven and obsessed with measurable impact of a campaign.

- Excellent presentation skills
- Strong organization and collaboration skills.

- Exceptional at your craft and a critical project owner.

- Self-starter. Ability to manage ambiguity, work autonomously, and multi-task.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven track record of executing projects successfully with teammates in different time zones.

- Motion design skills a plus
