About the RoleThe E-Commerce Order Fulfillment Specialist ensures online orders are processed quickly, accurately, and with the same high level of customer service our in-store clients experience. This role involves frequent communication with customers via email, phone, and internal messaging to provide updates, resolve issues, and ensure a smooth purchasing experience from start to finish.
The ideal candidate is customer-focused, detail-oriented, and organized , with a strong sense of accountability and professionalism. Familiarity with Shopify , order management systems, and reporting tools is a plus.
Key Responsibilities- Review and verify incoming web orders for accuracy, payment, and potential discrepancies or fraud.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- Provide excellent customer service , including timely and professional communication via email and phone about orders, returns, and product inquiries.
- Collaborate with internal teams (sales, warehouse, and customer service) to resolve order or product questions.
- Process and manage web order returns , including verifying product condition, issuing refunds or exchanges, and coordinating with customer service for resolution.
- Maintain organization and efficiency within the order fulfillment workflow.
- Update and monitor order fulfillment status within Shopify and related systems.
- Assist with Shopify reporting and other e-commerce tasks such as updating product information, tagging orders, or reconciling fulfillment data.
- Identify and support workflow improvements to increase efficiency, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
- Assist customers with extended warranty registration and claims processing .
- 1–2 years of experience in e-commerce fulfillment, retail operations, or customer service .
- Strong customer service and written communication skills , especially in email correspondence.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Experience with Shopify , or similar platforms preferred.
- Familiarity with warranty or returns processes is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Interest in photography or creative industries is a plus.
- Full-time, on-site role in Seattle, WA
- The anticipated hourly range for this position is $24–$27 an hour, depending on experience and skill level.
