North Seattle Orthodontics is seeking an enthusiastic Orthodontic Assistant to join our thriving practice in Seattle, WA. Experience preferred, but we are willing to train the right person!

Tuesdays and Wednesdays each week, plus two Thursdays and two Fridays per month, along with one administrative Monday as scheduled.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Prepare patients for treatment by welcoming, comforting, and seating,
- Build positive relationships with patients, families, and coworkers to ensure the targeted outcome treatment remains on schedule.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene.
- Enter detailed chart/record notations in the practice management system.
- Take x-rays, photos, impressions, and intraoral scans.
- Provide reports to parents/guardians.
- Assist Orthodontist with consultations and all stages of orthodontic procedures.
- Clean/disinfect operatories and sterilize instruments and devices.
- Set up trays and prepare brackets for bonding.
- Unload and store new supplies.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the Doctor, Clinical Lead, and Practice Manager.
The Teammate We’re Looking For
- Orthodontic Assistant is preferred, or Registered Dental Assistant.
However, we are willing to train the right person! - Good understanding of relevant health and safety regulations
- Proficiency with orthodontic/dental management software systems is preferred, but not required
- Exceptional interpersonal and communications skills, with a proven ability to build strong relationships and rapport with patients, parents, doctors, fellow team members and the community
- Keen attention-to-detail and time management skills
