Architecture Job Captain at Colliers Engineering & Design
MG2, an affiliate of Colliers Engineering & Design, is looking for an Architecture Job Captain to join our Client Programs Market team in Seattle, WA. This role offers the opportunity to work on global and national building programs, leading projects and clients through all phases of design and delivery.
OverviewAs a Job Captain, you will provide project and client leadership in the Client Programs (CP) Market, gaining expertise in architectural design, technical documentation, and project coordination on increasingly complex projects.
Responsibilities- Assist with the production of contract deliverables including field surveys, design drawings, construction documents, exhibits, and specifications, focusing on project coordination, detailing, and adherence to MG2 and client production standards.
- Provide administrative support for project teams, such as creating meeting agendas and minutes, updating project trackers, completing permit applications or checklists, maintaining RFI and submittal logs, and generating various project reports.
- Assist with code research and feasibility studies, coordinating directly with AHJ representatives.
- Actively participate in production and coordination of deliverables during construction administration, including site visits, field reports, RFI and submittal reviews, and OAC meetings.
- Produce accurate and timely work in accordance with weekly work plans and directions, demonstrating understanding of design intent and project budget.
- Bachelor’s degree in architecture or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in a professional architecture or design firm.
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of project design, documentation, and delivery standards.
- Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, and MS Office.
- Some experience with design and visualization tools such as Sketch‑Up, Adobe Creative Suite, Affinity, and Enscape.
- Ability to read, write, and understand English for job-related communications and verbal instructions.
$70,000 to $85,000 per year (depending on qualifications).
