The Associate Designer creates original, saleable men's apparel concepts based on direction from the Senior Designer. This role researches trends and collaborates with design and cross-functional partners.
Responsibilities- Conceptualize and accurately sketch design ideas based on direction from the Senior Designer.
- Prepare and present design sketches to cross-functional partners.
- Collaborate with the design team and cross-divisional partners.
- Support the Senior Designer in preparing for key milestones.
- Research trends and competitive brands and report findings.
- Bachelor's degree in Design and at least 2 years of design industry experience.
- Strong design portfolio and/or resume.
- Strong hand-sketching ability and proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong understanding of the industry and trends, with clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, manage time and multitask, and adapt quickly to new technology and systems.
