Summary

Kaiser Permanente - Washington Permanente Medical Group (WPMG) is seeking a full-time (1.0 FTE) Orthopedic Surgeon with expertise in total joint arthroplasty to join our dynamic orthopedics team based in Tacoma, WA. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of an integrated care delivery system that prioritizes evidence-based medicine, patient-centered care, and provider collaboration. A total joints fellowship is preferred and experience with revision arthroplasty is required.

Position

Highlights
  • Join a team of ten orthopedic surgeons and nine physician associates. Surgeons have sub‑specialty training in joints, sports, foot/ankle, and hand/upper extremity.
  • Focus on primary and revision total joint arthroplasty.
  • Supportive, collegial environment with opportunities for mentorship and collaboration.
  • Kaiser focuses on a coordinated care model that fosters optimal patient outcomes, including an established total joints program of nurse navigators and physical rehabilitation.
Qualifications
  • Medical Degree MD/DO required.
  • BC/BE Orthopedic Surgeon.
  • Unrestricted Federal DEA license.
  • WA State Medical License.
  • Experience in revision total joints and periprosthetic fractures.
  • Completion of an accredited total joints fellowship.
  • Full range of clinical skills and interest in working with an innovative group practice.
Compensation and Benefits

The entire salary range for this position is $596,761 to $702,071 and will be prorated based on FTE. Placement of new hires will be in the range of $596,761 to $666,968 based on factors such as education, training or experience. Employees (and their families) are covered by medical, dental, vision, basic life, and disability insurance. Employees can enroll in our company's 401(k) plan, receive employer contributions, and enroll in our cash balance pension plan.
