The ideal candidate is board eligible or board certified, flexible, creative, and willing to start this specialty service from the ground up.

Our Gainesville hospital is a well‑established, 24‑hour specialty center with an exceptional reputation for serving North Florida and South Georgia for nearly 20 years. Over the last three years we have seen rapid growth and now have a huge referral base. Our facilities include digital radiology, color‑flow Doppler ultrasound, endoscopy, laparoscopy, an on‑site laboratory, oxygen cages, off‑site MRI and CT diagnostics, and we are currently constructing our own onsite CT.

Our full‑service diagnostic and therapeutic emergency service has been established for over 25 years.

The hospital’s team includes two surgeons, two boarded internists, a boarded anesthesiologist (with a second anesthesiologist in our regional network), and five emergency doctors. An array of board‑certified specialists are also available in neurology, dermatology, physical therapy and oncology at our regional Blue Pearl medical centers in Jacksonville and Orange Park. We have strong support from over 200 referring veterinarians, are active with continuing education seminars in the community, and host lunchtime learning sessions with referral partner hospitals.

We also support learning and growth through additional training programs WINAPI through Blue Pearl University and Blue Pearl Science.

Gainesville is a historic and progressive city located in the heart of Florida, with easy access to Orlando, the Atlantic Ocean and the Gulf of Mexico. It offers easy access to nearby beach coasts, over 164 state parks, 10 state trails, and numerous theme parks.
