This on-site contract position provides a unique opportunity to work within a dynamic medical environment, contributing to patient care and the well-being of our community.

As a Hospitalist, you will play a pivotal role in managing patient care in the hospital setting. Your responsibilities will include overseeing patient diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up, ensuring that each patient receives the highest level of care. This role is crucial for improving patient outcomes and enhancing the quality of care provided within our facility.

• Manage and coordinate patient care in a hospital setting
• Perform thorough patient assessments and establish treatment plans
• Provide ongoing patient management and follow-up care
• Collaborate with nursing staff and multidisciplinary teams
• Document and maintain accurate patient records
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and protocols
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives
• Stay informed about the latest medical practices and technologies

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Valid medical license to practice in the State of Washington
• Experience as a hospitalist or in a similar medical setting preferred
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of patient care protocols
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
• Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced setting
• Commitment to continued professional development

Schedule:

10- or 12-hour shifts

336 beds

Variable patient volumes

Day Rounder: 14-17 patients

Day Hybrid: 8 patients and 4-6 admissions

Swing: 6-8 admissions

EMR:
Epic

Must be board-certified

ACLS, BLS, and DEA required
