What We Offer:

Role and Responsibilities

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and adaptable Substitute Teacher to join our community. As a Substitute Teacher at Evergreen Academy, you will have the opportunity to work with students from various classrooms ranging from preschool through 5th grade
, ensuring continuity in education during teacher absences. This role offers the flexibility to engage with different grade levels and subjects while implementing pre-planned lessons, maintaining classroom management, and fostering a positive and supportive learning environment.

  • Promote positive social and emotional development in students.
  • Implement pre-prepared lesson plans and manage classroom duties in the absence of the regular teacher.
  • Build relationships with students and other staff members to contribute to a vibrant school community.
  • Ensure a well-organized and engaging classroom atmosphere that supports student learning.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university (required).
  • Prior teaching experience or experience working with students is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to pass both state and federal background checks.
  • A passion for working with children and the flexibility to adapt to different teaching environments.
  • Ability to work with preschool through 5th grade required.
