What You’ll Do- Teach project‑time blocks (90‑minute blocks in high school or four 55‑minute blocks in middle school) and mentor students in daily advisory groups.
- Build deep relationships with students, coaching them toward personal goals and fostering a sense of community.
- Analyze student data, build lesson plans, and support school culture during teaching blocks.
- Participate in twice‑weekly professional development and community decision‑making meetings.
- Commitment to uphold Summit’s values and ensure all students receive a rigorous, equitable education.
- Strong commitment to DEIB and embedding these values into daily practices.
- Teaching credential in California or another US state.
- Bachelor’s degree (Master’s in Education preferred but not required).
- Clear health and background check.
- Teaching experience in your subject preferred but not required.

The salary for this position starts at $63,718 and goes up to $99,987 commensurate with experience and qualifications.
