About Spring AcademySpring Academy is a private school in Seattle educating students exclusively through one-to-one instruction. We are a progressive school for students facing obstacles in traditional school/classroom settings: academic or social challenges, or school-based anxiety or depression. We anticipate a fall 2026 need for an additional high school English and Social Studies teacher who shares our passion for education tailored to each child and has the requisite expertise and values to contribute to our mission. Our teachers combine one-to-one onsite instruction with a digital curriculum to create customized learning experiences for each student. This position includes:
- 20-30 hours per week
- 4-day work week (Monday-Thursday)
- Personalized schedule
- $36 per hour, Holiday Pay, Health-Dental-Vision Insurance, 401k plan, Commuter Benefit
- Instructional experience at the high school level
- Experience working with students with anxiety and learning disabilities
- Skilled at collaborating directly with students in a one-on-one setting
- Flexible and able to adapt to a variety of student skill levels and personalities
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education (or equivalent certification)
- 3+ years classroom teaching experience
