Our Beginning School and MOAI School are Reggio Emilia-inspired early learning schools seeking a thoughtful, dependable Pedagogical Guide. This leader supports Teacher-Researchers across both schools, strengthens daily educational practice, and helps create welcoming, inquiry-rich environments for young children.
What you’ll do- Guide and support Teacher-Researchers through observation, reflective dialogue, and meaningful pedagogical documentation.
- Coordinate daily educational practice, staffing continuity, child safety, and licensing expectations.
- Collaborate with Pedagogistas, the Atelierista, and families to strengthen relationships and children’s experiences.
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Education, or a closely related field.
- At least four years of experience with young children, including experience guiding or supervising educators.
- Knowledge of Reggio Emilia-inspired education, pedagogical documentation, and a commitment to RIE-informed practice.
- Integrity, humility, dependable follow-through, and the ability to remain calm, respectful, and effective under pressure.
